我將沿途的風景化成有趣的符號，等待下一位旅人。

當藝術家與一張好紙相遇，如魚得水，如遇知音。

藝術家郭宏達為了尋找一張好紙，與樹火相遇；從而搭上一張張紙材，承啟一段段綿長幻化的書寫旅行。

藝術家認為紙的無私一如白色接受所有色彩的寬容，在文字旅行中扮演著最佳載體，乘載了文字與符號中的古遠神話、生活悲喜、意志情感、聖哲智慧。然而，當資訊科技發展，書寫漸漸成為少數人的樂趣，人們也不再熟悉紙張的聲音。

從尋紙啟程，藝術家透過自身的文字旅行經驗，將沿途的風景化成有趣的符號。不定義美，也不設定標準。等待著下一位旅人來沈浸文字、演繹自我，邀請每個人運用自己的方式，在紙上詮釋出自己的美感。

“I transform the scenes along the way into interesting symbols, waiting for the next traveler to come along and discover them.”

When a fine piece of paper becomes available for an artist, they cherish it like a good friend as the paper will make their work easier and smoother.

Artist Kuo Hung-Ta met Suho in his search of refined paper. After that, he began to work with different kinds of paper, initiating the everlasting journey of writing.

Paper is selfless. It embraces a wide variety of colours like the colour of white. It is the best medium to document the journey made of texts and symbols, which create narratives for mythology, happiness, grief, perseverance, philosophy, and wisdom. Nevertheless, as information technology greatly advances, writing on paper becomes a hobby only few people enjoy, and humans no longer feel intimate about the sound of paper.

Beginning with the search of paper, Kuo transforms the scenes along his journey into interesting symbols based on his experience. Instead of defining beauty and creating standards, the artist interprets what he considers beautiful in expectation of the next traveler to immerse in the world of words and hence express themselves and their aesthetics on paper in their own ways.
