Paper is fragile, especially under human negligence or
natural factors.
What could you do if your beloved book is soaked or eaten
by worms?
Consequently, the valuable information recorded on it
cannot be kept forever, resulting in the loss of the cultural
knowledge from the past. Therefore, proper maintenance
and repairing of paper relics not only is essential to
the museum personnel, but is also closely related to our
everyday life.
Our organization considered the need to preserve and repair
Taiwan paper relics, and started to promote the "10-Year
Plantation Project".
With our professional knowledge, resources and the series
of activities we promote, we hope to bring about the progress
of paper preservation and repair in Taiwan through this
project.
