靈 感 的 一 張 兩 面 - 紙 料 實 驗 教 育 展

靈感思維：描述腦中所思考的問題，受到事物的啟發，忽然獲得解決的一段心理過程。

 

人腦運作的機能中，靈感活動像是一種潛意識與顯意識相互作用的整體性創造過程，在人類文明長河裡，許多重大的科學發現或傑出的文藝創作，往往是一道靈光閃現，促成一代智慧的超越。而從另一脈絡來看，古希臘神話中所流傳掌管歌曲、詩、藝術和科學的九位繆思女神，長久以來亦成為藝術家苦思靈感時所崇拜幻想的對象，更體現出世間對於「靈感」的希冀與渴望。
 
一幅曠世鉅作的誕生可能來自一張餐巾紙的背面隨筆，大家可能都有這樣的經驗，當思緒的靈光一閃時，趕緊抓起身邊的紙筆速速記下，落於紙上的，才具有了下一步茁壯的可能。樹火紀念紙博物館在文化保存和藝術發展的路程上，與藝術家介紹分享各種紙張的可能，一同嘗試無限靈感，薄纖紙即是一例。在工業科技中被廣泛加工運用的機能紙，從3C產業作為手機內部的電子零件基材，到各式醫療、食品包裝用紙，因其機能特性成就各類產業價值。但，同樣的一張紙，在藝術家的眼中，紙的機能條件卻如同個性表情般一一舒展，此次展覽特別邀請四組藝術家，分享他們將薄纖紙運用在不同領域所呈現出的作品面貌：顏忠賢在古建築上詩意包覆創作、黃木各在藝術性上採用此材質繪畫、邱裕文與許偉倫用以營造空間場域、又或是覃康寧運用在劇場所表現的情緒張力……。也依藝術家不斷地跨域與自我突破的傾向，讓紙的面向從單一的定點中發散，開啟了片狀、立面的豐富態樣。
 
此次展覽旨在提供一種觀察靈感、等待靈感的可能，隨著科技產業的進步，一切成品的誕生越來越速成，我們活在一個逐漸失去感受力的年代。正因如此，《靈感的一張兩面》不僅僅闡述了一張紙的多種用途面向，更是希望觀者藉由「捕獲、誘發、交換」一趟完整的靈感心理歷程，靜下心來反思，在藝術與科學相遇的展場中，觀賞回歸事物本質的沉澱，撞擊出新思維。

 

 

 

Inspirations from both sides: Paper Lab - An educational exhibition

Suho Memorial Paper Museum has always been a platform introducing all kinds of paper towards artists, at the same time sharing inspirations with each other. In the technology industry, technical paper (such as internal cellular shielding material constructed in mobile phones, wrappings for medical foods…) has been used in the hands of artists and have showed a variety of different morphologies conversion of art which consists a totally different appearance, such as Synthetic Paper.
 
In our accelerated world, we tend to have less patience brewing up ideas. Therefore this exhibition not only describes the variety of uses of Synthetic Paper, it is hoped that the visitors could stop and reflect on the idea of thinking from first principles rather than analogy, which perhaps allow us to reason in a innovative and distinctive approach.
